Registration for Training

There are currently two routes for trainees to register with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.  Please click the links below for the respective application forms.

• FICM Trainee Membership
  For trainees appointed, via competetive interview, to an ICM CCT programme. Trainees entering the ICM CCT programme must register with the Faculty.  Please click here to go to the Trainee Membership page.
• FICM General Registration
  For trainees completing modules of ICM training outside the ICM CCT programme who wish to register an interest in ICM and ultimately obtain a letter of sign-off from the Faculty. 

Important Information:

• Both forms require sign-off from the local Regional Advisor in ICM before submission.  
• All forms should be completed with precise dates wherever possible.
• ICM CCT trainees who are currently in post and previously registered with the IBTICM or FICM (using the previous CCT Registration Form) are not required to complete an FICM Trainee Membership Form in order to complete their CCT training.  However, the FICM strongly urges all its CCT trainees to join the Faculty.
• Trainees joining an ICM CCT programme must complete and submit an FICM Trainee Membership Form, even if they have previously submitted a General Registration Form.
