FICM Trainee Representative Election 2020
Candidates for election
Trainees eligible to stand for election will be sent an email detailing the election process and a web link to the Form of Notice of Intention to Stand. The form must include the details of a Fellow of the Faculty, in good standing, who supports the candidate’s application (we may approach these supporters to confirm). Candidates may submit, as part of their Notice of Intention to Stand, a statement that must not exceed 200 words. There is no requirement to submit such a statement; it is entirely voluntary. By submitting the form, candidates are confirming that the information provided is true and correct. Any statement submitted will be published online and included with the list of candidates issued with the ballot papers. Please complete the form below and return by email to the FICM Secretariat: firstname.lastname@example.org
Diversity, equality and inclusion is an integral part of our culture at FICM so it is important to us that this is reflected in our recruitment practices. We strongly encourage applications from individuals from all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities and perspectives to ensure we maintain an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates our differences.
Completed Nomination Forms (ie Notice of Intention to Stand Forms) must be received by the FICM Secretariat no later than 5pm on Monday 05 October 2020. Any forms received after this date will not be accepted. The names of the candidates and whom they have been nominated by will be published on the Faculty website on 06 October 2020.
The election will be conducted entirely electronically via the voting website SimplyVoting. A voting link to all trainees will be sent out by email on 07 October 2020 to your primary email address registered with the Faculty. Trainees are requested to contact the FICM secretariat (email@example.com) without delay if they have changed their email address to ensure they receive the ballot papers.
Votes for this election will be accepted online only. Votes must be cast by 5pm on Wednesday 28 October 2020. The votes will then be counted, and the results passed to the Faculty; candidates will be notified of the results no later than 29 October 2020. The election results will be declared on 29 October 2020 and will be published on the Faculty website on 30 October 2020.
If there are any further queries please contact the Faculty.
