BMA guidance published: ‘Working in the peri-retirement period’
The British Medical Association has released 'Working in the peri-retirment peiord: possible changes to working practices'. This guidance explores some of the key drivers for consultants leaving the workforce and sets out ways in which employers can support consultants and to retain them in the workforce. This guidance focuses primarily on returning to employment by an NHS trust following retirement.
