Suggested baseline tests:
- Bloods: FBC, U&Es, LFTs, CRP, Amylase, Coagulation profile, Blood cultures, Non-invasive liver screen (NILS)
- Blood gas
- Urinalysis
- ECG
- Imaging: Chest X-ray, Renal and liver ultrasound
Given the combination of fever, jaundice, AKI alongside the history of exposure to livestock and potentially contaminated water leptospirosis was suspected.
